The former NFL center catches the Hatchimal and enjoys the magic in a new ad. Jason Kelce is welcoming back a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood favorite toy for today’s kids to enjoy!
The retired NFL great, 36, appears in a new campaign for Hatchimals, giving a full analysis of the magical new hatching experience.
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, the father of three — who shares daughters Bennett, 19 months, Elliotte, 3, and Wyatt, 5, with wife Kylie Kelce — expressed his excitement to announce some new additions to the Hatchimals lineup.
“I wasn’t a parent when Hatchimals first launched, but now that I have three girls, this is right up my alley,” Jason shares with PEOPLE.
“Watching their faces light up when they got their hands on the new Hatchimals was priceless. The magical mist, the surprises – it’s awesome! And I gotta say, the Pufficorn? Instant favorite in the Kelce household.”
In the spot, Kelce catches the Hatchimal, trying to tap it and rock it before showing off a football hold.
“It’s almost like a present inside a present. You’re getting two presents!” he says.
As the Hatchimal lights up and gets ready to hatch, the anxious ESPN commentator is excited to see what’s inside.
“This is probably how Kylie felt at 36 weeks pregnant,” he jokes. “Like, ‘Get out of here already!’”
Spin Master is working with the former Philadelphia Eagles center to deliver something special to his community this holiday season. The company and the NFL star will team up to donate $1,000,000 worth of toys to 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren in Philadelphia.
As a guest on the Conversations with Cam podcast on Wednesday, Sept. 4, Jason opened up about some of his favorite things about his wife, noting she’s a great mother to their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
“My favorite characteristic of her as a mother is that her kids are the most important thing in the world to her and it comes across in everything she does,” Jason told host Cameron Rodgers.
“Your priorities are so important. And that being the number one priority really sets the stage for everything else,” he added.
The Philadelphia Eagles player then shared, “My favorite characteristic in Kylie, just as a person, is a lot, you know. Besides honesty, besides integrity, besides [being] compassionate, besides [being] loving, I would say my favorite characteristic is that she’s not afraid to be who she is and does not feel pressure to be something that she doesn’t want to be.”
He continued, “She’s one of the most consistent human beings I know on the planet and it helps me greatly, selfishly, that she is so grounded and so consistent in who she is as a person.”
