The Boldness of the Pink Audi R8-007

It’s the rear of this bright pink Audi R8 that most looks like a Lamborghini, more specifically the Aventador SVJ and Huracán STO. Bright pink Audi R8

The Audi R8 is an incredibly good-looking supercar, there’s no doubt about that.

In fact, we might go as far to say it’s one of the best-looking supercars of the 21st century.

But not everyone thinks so.

This owner opted to transform their Audi R8 into a one-of-a-kind creation by adding a wide body kit designed by Puzzle Bodykits.

The only original parts it retains are the roof, headlights, doors, and side mirrors, with the rest of the bodywork being custom-made by the Malaysian outfit.

At the front, the Audi R8 boasts prominent air intakes and an oversized front splitter.

The supercar’s muscular arches now have fender vents, too.

It’s been made to look like the current generation R8, with the look of a GT3 racer to boot. Bright pink Audi R8

Side on, the Audi R8 has been given some massive side skirts which dominate the side profile, although it’s missing the signature side blades over the side air intakes.

The supercar sits on some white wheels from HRE, which do a very good job of drawing attention to the yellow brake callipers that sit behind.

To round things off, the Audi R8 has been finished in the brightest shade of pink which we dare say contributes to its head-turning appearance.

But it’s the rear of the Audi R8 that most looks like a Lambo, more specifically the Aventador SVJ and Huracán STO.

Take the exhaust pipes, for example, which have been repositioned and now jut out of the rear fascia just like a Huracán.

The Lambo-inspired design doesn’t end there.

The tailights resemble clusters from the Murcielago, and the fixed rear spoiler wouldn’t look out of place on the Gallardo Superleggera.

Then there’s that oversized diffuser, which looks like it’s been lifted straight off the incredibly rare Centenario.

While there’s no mention of any performance upgrades, we suspect the owner is more interested in turning heads at low speeds.

After all, a base Audi R8 produces 562 horsepower from its 5.2-liter V10, so there’s really no need to up the ante here.

The pink Audi R8 Lambo lookalike might not be to everyone’s taste, but there’s no denying it’s been built to high standards.

It’s certainly not the worst custom car we’ve ever seen; that title belongs to a rather gruesome Lamborghini Aventador replica.
