Due to the lack of major basketball games tonight, LeBron James seemed to have been channel surfing in search of something to watch and came across one of his favorite players playing today.
Robby Dambrot scored for Loudon United in a USL Championship second level soccer game against FC Tulsa, and LeBron supposedly watched the goal. Dambrot is someone that LeBron really enjoys, as he said on X:
“The Man, The Myth, The Legend!!” Letters were written by LeBron.
Many were surprised to see LeBron watching a soccer match from a lower league in the United States, but after doing some research, some understood why the 29-year-old defender is so popular with LeBron.
“Is bron a supporter of Loudoun United? Because he’s a hometown hero, do I have to root for Bro? composed an additional text.
“Hold on a second. Why is Bron talking about a Loudoun County team on Twitter?” another person said.
Someone made a joke about how Bron is watching USL while MLS is on.
Keith Dambrot coached LeBron’s high school basketball team at Akron’s St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. Robby is Robby’s kid.
“Having a normal day where 100 games have happened or will happen, and amid all of that LeBron is hyped for Loudoun United’s own Robby Dambrot,” a user said. “Dambrot’s father coached LeBron’s high school team.
