At first, Brink had no interest in playing professional basketball. However, her perspective shifted after she went to a camp run by Stephen Curry’s father, the legendary Dell Curry, a former NBA sharpshooter and father of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. That tragic decision solidified the tie between the Brink and Curry families, and Steph made sure it would stay that way by posting again in support of Cameron Curry’s letter to his godsister.
Thanks for tuning in!
Curry welcomed the Sparks forward to her new family as an American Olympian and shared on Instagram Stories a shot of Brink proudly wearing her new US jersey. Curry also mentioned that the two were now teammates.
Despite Curry’s two FIBA World Cup victories with the United States national team, he is still required to participate in the Olympics. When it comes to that, Brink has already exceeded Curry and accomplished something that Curry hasn’t managed to do in his impressive fifteen years as a professional.
Before Brink returns to the United States to complete her WNBA season, she will have the opportunity to grow, learn, and try out some new techniques at the 3×3 tournament at Place de la Concorde, which starts on July 30 and continues until August 5.
