Despite the reports, LeBron James is still making time to thank the woman who has been there for him. The NBA player made it plain that his wife, Savannah James, is the real MVP in his life after recently winning a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, by praising her as his genuine support system.
“The company is handled by my wife, dude. After Team USA’s thrilling gold-medal triumph against France, James spoke passionately about his MVP in an interview with Andscape. I couldn’t accomplish what I do or have the same passion for the game if it weren’t for her. I adore it.
Amidst circulating speculations, the 39-year-old basketball legend, who was accompanied by his family throughout his last Olympic run, did not hesitate to express his deep affection for Savannah.
For that reason, I do it. “My family is the reason I do it,” James stressed. As he won his fourth Olympic gold medal, Savannah and their three children were there the whole time to cheer him on.
America’s gold medal in Paris was due in large part to LeBron. The Olympic MVP, James, who may be making his final Olympic appearance, thought about the value of family. The presence of his wife, two sons, daughter, and extended relatives was “everything,” he gushed.
In addition to four NBA titles and four MVP honors, LeBron’s illustrious career now includes a gold medal. He has an equally impressive Olympic legacy, having won gold in 2008 in Beijing, silver in 2012 in London, and a bronze in 2004 in Athens. He will be competing in Paris in 2024.
Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, and Steph Curry are just a few of the NBA stars whom James helped get to this year’s U.S. national team. After Team USA’s dissatisfying showing in fourth place at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, James was instrumental in getting the stars to pull together and win.
“No, I can’t see myself playing in LA,” LeBron said firmly when asked if he would think about competing in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Similarly, I never saw myself performing in Paris. However, I will not be able to see it in four years.
It wasn’t about the medals, though; for LeBron, it was about the individuals who made the Olympics possible. His wife Savannah, who has been his rock on and off the court, ranks first on that list.
