In Saturday’s 107-81 Summer League game against the Chicago Bulls in Las Vegas, Blake Hinson scored 25 points on 5 of 14 three-pointers and Quincy Olivari scored 20 points on 6 of 13 attempts from deep.
The Lakers never looked back after jumping out to a 39-18 lead in the first quarter on the strength of 13 points from Hinson. They went on to post a 3-2 record in Las Vegas. To kick off summer play, they dropped all three games in the California Classic.
Dalton Knecht and Bronny James, the team’s first-round picks in the guard position, sat out the game. Maxwell Lewis, a second-year forward, did not either.

Moving forward Both center Moses Brown (who grabbed eight boards and two blocks) and forward Vincent Valerio-Bodon (who scored six points in the opening quarter) finished with ten points apiece. The game-highs for guard Grayson Murphy were eleven rebounds, ten assists, and three steals. In the end, he scored five points.
