Tuesday, the Lakers introduced newcomers Dalton Knecht and Bronny James to the squad. Today, they announced the lineup and schedule for the Summer League.

Knecht and Bronny’s inclusion on the roster for the California Classic and Las Vegas Summer League was expected, but Jalen Hood-Schifino, the 2023 first-round pick, was noticeably absent. Due to back surgery he had towards the end of the season, JHS will miss the summer months of play.

It was thought that the roster would be similar outside of JHS. The roster includes Armel Traore and two-way signing Blake Hinson. Standouts on the squad will include second-year player Maxwell Lewis and two-way qualifying offer recipient Colin Castleton.Quincy Olivari was also a part of one of the few pre-draft workouts that made headlines. The Lakers acquired Olivari and Sean East II via Exhibit-10 deals following the draft.

Looking at the roster, we can put together the starting lineup for this club. Knecht, Castleton, and Lewis are sure bets to start. Given his height, shooting ability, and potential starting position as a four, Blake Hinson will likely see time at guard.

I wоuldn’t be surprised if оlivari, whо is naturally gifted at pоint guard, started instead оf Brоnny, whо is оften thоught оf as the starting pоint guard. It will prоbably be an оffensive-minded guard if оlivari isn’t the оne.

On the other hand, Bronny will see a ton of action this summer. There are a ton of games between Sacramento and Las Vegas, so he and this team will get plenty of playing time.
