The 1972 Chevrolet Corvette is a vehicle description. Engine: 350 ci, gearbox: automatic, climate control, windows: power, interior: correct sunflower yellow with saddle upholstery, power steering, brakes: power, radio: Delco AM/FM, wheels: rally, tires: new Firestone Wide Oval. The vehicle’s prior owner stated that the engine numbers were compatible. The presentation of this Corvette is superb.
But I will step aside as I am not an expert on corvettes. I still have the original gearbox, even though a brand new 3:08 rear end from Bair with all new components was installed. It looks like a grade 2, but it’s actually a fantastic car. No justification, no squeaks, no rattles. Approximately four years ago, the vehicle underwent a body-on restoration.
The majority of the car’s components have been restored, detailed, painted, or replaced with brand new ones. The undercarriage, which included a complete rebuild using new parts and professional labor, cost me about an extra $14,000. I have all of the receipts. You may see them in the images. Identical to the exterior and interior in appearance is the undercarriage.
I am not going to venture an estimate as to how much the prior owner paid for the vehicle. Likely more than what I’m requesting. On the top of the driver’s side T-shirt, you can see a tiny paint scratch. It could be as tiny as a tiny fingernail. Of course it can be fixed. It drives, steers, and runs like a dream, just like a car from 1972 should. It looks like the automobile is in good shape. But the figures don’t add up. Therefore, the reduced cost. Shipping to the lower 48 states is already included in the pricing I’m offering. The Chevrolet Vette is the kind of vehicle you can keep and pass down through the generations. Trust me, it’s that wonderful. Any car is good to me. But I’m not a “chaser” for Corvettes. As a driver, that is all I do. Just a buyer. I know the top people in the globe who can help you get the money you need. Get a plane ticket on my dime if we can’t settle this.
