“My grandfather bought his Bronco brand new in ’66, and I’ve been driving it ever since I got my license,” local high school student Emma Watkins adds. “To me, it’s a family legacy and a link to the past of this community, not only a car. I never want to sell it.

Every year, the town throws a “Bronco Bash” event when owners from all around come to highlight their most valuable items, trade stories, and honor the ongoing attraction of this venerable off-roader.
“For many of us, The Bronco Bash marks one of the highlights of the year,” notes Daniels. “This is an opportunity to meet like-minded aficioners and truly value the legacy and character of these vehicles. In Rushville, they represent a way of life rather than only vehicles.
