Get Ready for Game Day: Patrick Mahomes Reveals Exclusive Adidas Training Shoe for NFL Season

Adidas will present Patrick Mahomes, the Suρer Bowl-winning quarterback, with a signature line of footwear and apparel prior to his NFL debut in 2019.

The Adidas Mahomes 1.0 Impact FLX training shoe, designed with input from the Kansas City Chiefs head coach, is scheduled to debut early the following week. The Three Stripes claimed that in order to design the shoe, they analyzed the quarterback’s foot movements and “innovative game and style of play” to determine where he required the most traction and support. The shoe is “founded in cleat movements and optimized for turf,” as stated by Adidas.

“Go Time,” the inaugural colorway, is primarily constructed in solar green to symbolize a green traffic light—a reference to the vigor Mahomes brings to the field and to training. Adidas stated that the shoe’s undulating design, protruding midsole, and overlay components symbolized “the dynamic ups and downs of time and the heartbeat of a team.”

“The ‘Go Time’ green stands out visibly. Mahomes said in a statement, “I desired my signature footwear and apparel to not only perform admirably and look great during my workouts, but also attract attention off the field.” “With the introduction of the new collection, I channel that warrior-like energy from game time every day.”

The Adidas Mahomes 1.0 Impact FLX features technological advancements such as tongue-less bооtie construction for a sock-like fit, ripstop stretch woven uppers for increased durability, and TPU overlays for forefoot stabilization and stability during dynamic movements. In addition, Adidas infused the heel with Boost midsole cushioning to improve comfort and responsiveness.

The Adidas Mahomes 1.0 Impact FLX will be available for purchаse on August 23 at Adidas.com for $130.

On August 23, Adidas.com will also feature the Future Icons Apparel Collection, a five-piece assortment that includes sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts, T-shirts, joggers, and shorts adorned with the athlete’s signature gladiator mask logo
